This policy applies specifically to Storage 365's SMS messaging program. For our general website privacy policy, see storage365.us/privacy-policy.
When you rent a storage unit at one of our locations, either online at storage365.us or in person, and opt in to our SMS program, we collect your mobile phone number along with the rental information you provide (name, unit, and move-in details).
If you check the SMS opt-in box during your rental agreement, we send a short review-request message approximately 24 hours after move-in, and, for customers who have not responded, one follow-up message 5-7 days later. No further messages are sent as part of this program. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of renting a unit.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt back in.
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above, and only to customers who have opted in.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
